About Cursor, I know from a long, long time, but the first time I decided to give it a try. What are my thoughts on it:
– Superb when to run infrastructure of Node, NPM, yarn
– Very accurate in understanding what needs to be done
– Sometimes hard to explain what I want to achieve (remember I’m not a frontend dev); for example, I cannot force it to fix the background image to be width only to the top-most button ruler, but I think a frontend engineer can explain it to it better
– Very good interface; merge and diff are really important for me, also I like the in-place edit
– It can build very complex apps in minutes even with Claude 3.5 Sonnet
– With its own code, Cursor had a problem with applying dark mode – I have tried about 14 fixes, and it didn’t manage to do it
